The command staff of the IKAV Nemesis, XO, CO and Com. Officer left Atlanta on Thursday 6 AM and arrived in Columbus Ohio at 4 PM. We checked in and found Kerla first thing which was great since we had not seen her for at least three years. We then saw Twisty and Kris and that was a lot of fun. Saw Jim and met Qat'Iy and Athena all the way from Germany! We went to have dinner at Max and Erma’s which was a lot of fun. After that we went and retired for the evening since we had gotten up so early that day.

Friday we found that our house sisters, Trae’la and Kevara had arrived late the night before. We had breakfast with them and Trae’las mother Bonnie. We checked in at the KAG table and got our badges. I took a lot of pictures of fellow Kagsters and other con goers. At 4PM we had our first invasion to the movie theater. We had around 15 people go see the new Star Trek movie which was fantastic. We then had dinner at the Mongolian BBQ restaurant which was fantastic. We ended up having dinner with our neighbors from Canada, Ripar Bortas and Xannis. A lovely couple who had gotten married about a year ago. We than walked back to the hotel and met even more Klingons from all over. We went to the forehead panel and got to meet Qob! The panel was great and extremely helpful. We also met up with Sqo'tty and his lovely wife and beautiful baby girl. The biggest surprise was that Kolex was there which was a huge treat because we only get to see him once a year. Later that night we celebrated Trae’la 33^rd birthday that was hosted by the IKV Micela’s Revenge. It was nice and we celebrated with House Grog and chocolate cake!

Saturday we went to the general assembly and we had 7 out of the 8 Admiral’s of KAG there. Lots of awards were given including the Klingon Bastard presented by Qob! To Col. Amar Koloth! So now Amar is officially now a Klingon Bastard which means that he is boisterous, loud and has no fear being Klingon. Qob! Mentioned it best in the latest issue of Mindscanner. http://kag.org/ms/ms74/qob.html. We then had the ceremony at the grand staircase. Admiral Kerla stepped down and Krikor took the reigns as the new head of KAG. The first Canadian to hold that position. We wish him well in this huge endeavor. During the ceremony we did have a chance to spot Amar on the staircase. After the Ceremony Qob! was arrested and put into the nearest Jail and Bail. He was finally ransomed out.

Later that evening Amar entered the Masquerade as Anubis, but Krikor won this glorious event in his Spartan outfit. We then arrived at the KAG ATTACK Party and it was already a hit! It was crowded and filled with our friends from all over. I allowed Col. Amar to drink this evening which is really rare since he can’t hold his liquor very well and tends to get very silly or end up leaving items of his clothes around. The Col. and I had fun at the KAG party then walked around to scope out the other parties, but there was no comparison. We decided to go back to the KAG party and sat and hung around Kevara, Trae’la, Qor'toq, Kolex and others. They decided to do the chocolate ceremony which was fascinating. I turned to Amar and he was gone. He just kind of flitted away. He was a bit tipsy at this point but I wasn’t too worried. I mean what kind of trouble could he get into to? After about an hour, I turned to Qor'toq and asked him if he had seen my husband. We both looked out the back door of the suite and saw Amar floating by. Yes floating is the correct word. He was happy so I let him alone for a bit longer. After about an hour or so I decided to find him to no avail. I decided that I would go upstairs, it was late. I had just gotten into the bed when a knock and a voice that was not my husband said, that he was coming in with my husband. Thankfully it was our dear friend Neelix!  For those that don’t know, Neelix was the busy helper that was buzzing around doing this and that. We’ve known him for years and hadn’t seen him for quite some time. So anyways, Amar comes flying in, promptly fell on the floor, hit the bed and jumped up stating that he loved Neelix long long time $20. Neelix left and Amar finally went to sleep.

Sunday we slept in a bit and went to have breakfast. Turned out to be a slow day and we hadn’t realized that it was the last day of the con. We had thought it would last until Monday. So we made the best of it, we ended up invading White Castle and went to see Night at the Museum II. It was a lot of fun. We got back to the hotel, packed and relaxed. Got up at 4AM and headed back to Atlanta. All in all we had a great time. Seeing old friends, meeting new ones and having a great time at it!
